2012] I am excited to announce that the Diskarnate
song "Seven Sorrows" has been selected as a semi-finalist in the 2011
International Songwriting Competition, Dance/Electronica category. With
over 16,000 entries in ISC 2011, this is an incredible accomplishment!
The International Songwriting Competition is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. ISC has the most prestigious panel of judges of all the songwriting and music contests in the world. Judges in 2011 included: Massive Attack, Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Kelly Clarkson, Tori Amos, and Robert Smith (The Cure). The song "Seven Sorrows" will be available as a pre-release of the forthcoming first EP in all common download stores (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon.mp3, Google Music, Rhapsody) within the next days! |
